These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Strumskis Kitchens, a trading name of YCP-UK Ltd (“I”, “me”, “my”, “the Company”), and govern the use of this website, all enquiries made through it, and any services requested or provided.
By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, uploading documents, or engaging my services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Scope of Services
I provide professional services relating to kitchen renovations, which may include:

- Kitchen project management
- Full kitchen installation
- Supply of kitchens, cabinetry, appliances, and related components
Each service is offered individually or in combination, subject to written agreement. No service is implied unless explicitly confirmed.
3. Independent Kitchen Consultation (Advisory Service)
Independent kitchen consultation is a professional advisory service only.
This service may include:
- review of layouts, drawings, and specifications
- review of quotes, allowances, and scope of work
- guidance on preparation, sequencing, and decision-making
- identification of common risks and practical considerations
Advice is provided based on:
- professional experience
- information supplied by the client
- conditions reasonably visible or described at the time
Consultation does not constitute architectural, structural engineering, surveying, building control, or legal advice. Clients remain responsible for engaging appropriate professionals where required.
4. Professional Judgement and Limitations
All advice is given in good faith and represents professional opinion, not guarantees of outcome.
Kitchen renovations involve variables beyond the Company’s control, including existing building conditions, third-party workmanship, and supplier performance. No advice can eliminate all risk.
5. No Obligation to Proceed
Engaging an independent consultation does not obligate the client to proceed with project management, installation, or supply services.
Likewise, YCP-UK Ltd reserves the right to decline further involvement in a project following consultation.
6. Project Management Services
Where kitchen project management services are agreed, my role is limited to:
- structured planning and sequencing advice
- coordination guidance
- progress review at agreed stages
- decision support
Unless expressly agreed in writing:
- I do not act as principal contractor
- I do not directly supervise or employ third-party trades
- responsibility for third-party contractors remains with the client
Project management services are advisory and organisational in nature.
7. Kitchen Installation Services
Where full kitchen installation services are agreed:
- the scope of work will be confirmed in writing
- timelines are indicative and subject to external factors
- reasonable access to the property must be provided
Unforeseen site conditions, structural issues, or delays outside the Company’s control may affect timing and cost.
YCP-UK Ltd reserves the right to limit installation workload to maintain quality and standards.
8. Supply of Kitchens and Appliances
Where the supply of kitchens or appliances is agreed:
- products are supplied subject to manufacturer specifications and warranties
- delivery times are indicative only
- variations, delays, or defects caused by suppliers are outside the Company’s direct control
Any warranty claims are subject to manufacturer terms.
9. Fees, Pricing, and Payment
All fees:
- are agreed in advance
- may be fixed, staged, or time-based
- are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise
Consultation fees are payable regardless of outcome or subsequent engagement.
Late payment may result in suspension of services. The Company reserves the right to recover reasonable costs where permitted by law.
10. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Consultations or services may be rescheduled subject to reasonable notice.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be chargeable in full or in part, depending on preparation already undertaken.
11. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete information
- ensuring plans, measurements, and documents are correct
- informing the Company of changes affecting the project
Advice and recommendations are based solely on the information provided by the client.
12. File Uploads and Confidentiality
Documents uploaded via this website (including plans, quotes, photographs, or specifications) are treated as confidential and used solely for service delivery.
While reasonable safeguards are used, electronic transmission of data cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Intellectual Property
All advice, reports, written content, and documentation provided by Strumskis Kitchens / YCP-UK Ltd remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
14. Website Use and Content
Website content is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional advice unless a formal service agreement is in place.
The Company reserves the right to update content, services, or pricing without notice.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YCP-UK Ltd shall not be liable for:
- decisions made by clients or third parties
- workmanship carried out by others
- changes made without consultation
- hidden defects or unforeseen structural issues
- delays caused by suppliers, contractors, or external factors
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
YCP-UK Ltd reserves the right to refuse or terminate services where:
- professional boundaries are not respected
- communication becomes unreasonable
- payment terms are breached
- a project is unsuitable
Any fees paid will be handled fairly and proportionately.
17. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier disruption, extreme weather, illness, or government restrictions.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
